I am Alejandro and I am a visual facilitator, that means that I use visual thinking tools to bring out aspects of a group work or project that might seem “hidden beneath the surface”.
I am also a visual storyteller, passionate about creating an emotional connection between what you want to communicate and your audience, using visual media tools.
Since 2005, I have worked with a number of organisations developing and coordinating participatory citizenship, educational and capacity building projects, and running trainings and facilitation for their members.
By experiencing and practicing visual thinking, I realised that this is one of the most powerful tools that organisations and individuals can use to understand and face challenges that a continuously changing world puts in their way.
My goal is also to make visual thinking tools available for everyone, I therefore give trainings to different audiences and specifically I enjoy working with facilitators so we can bring forces together to have a “wow!” and “Now I get it!” moment with groups of people.
I am also a member of the European Forum of Visual Practitioners, a forum in which all visual practitioners come together to share expertise and develop our profession.
